ANSAB’s Research, Planning and Communication Manager – Sudarshan Khanal presented a case study on “Pilot REDD+ project in community managed forests in three watershed regions of Nepal: Incentives for improved forest management” at the International Workshop on Market Based Incentives for Watershed Management, held in Cape Town, South Africa, on December 11 and 12, 2013. UNEP in collaboration with the University of Cape Town organized the workshop, which reviewed the draft policy publication and identified policy recommendations for implementing market based incentives for water resources management.
