World Environment Day 2024
June 05, 2024 – To celebrate the World Environment Day 2024, ANSAB partnered with different stakeholders to organize various events in Kawasoti Municipality, Madhyabindu Municipality and Hupsekot Rural Municipality of Nawalpur district.
ANSAB partnered with the “Aitihashik Kawasoti Taal Samrakshan Tatha Sinchai Jal Upabhokta Samuha” and other stakeholders to host a lake cleanliness program at Taruwa Lake. This initiative was a collaborative effort of ANSAB, Kawasoti Municipality, the District Police Office, the Division Forest Office, and other community groups. The program, inaugurated by the Mayor of Kawasoti Municipality, highlighted the importance of conserving and restoring our natural water bodies. Additionally, ANSAB also supported Shree Gyanodaya Secondary School of Kawasoti Municipality for a trees tagging. This was initiated to raise awareness among students about the importance of biodiversity and tree conservation, promoting a sense of responsibility towards the environment from a young age.
ANSAB, in collaboration with Madhyabindu Municipality and ECO-Club Madhyabindu, also organized a speech competition for primary school students. The event focused on the theme “Our Land, Our Future: We are #GenerationRestoration,” encouraging students to reflect on environmental restoration and conservation.
In Hupsekot Rural Municipality, ANSAB collaborated with Shree Saraswati Sanskrit Tatha Aadharbhut Vidhyalaya for a plantation and cleanliness program. The event witnessed active participation of teachers and students in creating a greener and cleaner community.
