International Biodiversity Day 2023
May 22, 2023 – To celebrate International Biodiversity Day 2023, ANSAB partnered with Shree Janata Higher Secondary School, Kawasoti-10, Nawalpur, to conduct an awareness-raising program on biodiversity and its importance. The program targeted school students from the school’s eco-club and children’s club. A jungle walk activity was organized for students, to make them learn directly from nature. During the jungle walk, the students were oriented on tree species, small insects, forest invasive species, botanical plants, birds, and wetland ecosystems. A total of 32 students, accompanied by an eco-club teacher and project staffs, participated in the event held in the buffer zone area of Chitwan National Park, Kawasoti-13.
