World Earth Day 2024
April 22, 2024 – ANSAB, in coordination with Kawasoti Municipality, Division Forest Office-Nawalpur, and the Nawalpur district’s Tourism Committee, organized a Speech and Poem Competition to mark Earth Day 2024. The speech competition was for the students from Grades 8 through 12, while the poem competition was for the students from Grades 5 through 8. The main theme for the both competition was “Impact of Plastic on Earth.” This event was tailored for schools in Kawasoti Municipality that have ecoclubs, which were established with support from ANSAB’s “Nature Conservation and Agroforestry Production in Rural Communities” project.
