ANSAB supports earthquake affected communities in Dolakha and Sindhupalchok with livestock sheds
ANSAB has distributed CGI sheets to 200 needy households in Dolakha and Sindhupalchok districts for livestock shed construction. As a part of Earthquake Relief and Recovery Program (ERRP), under One Health Asia Programme contingency fund, about 1,800 CGI sheets were distributed among local people to minimize the vulnerability and possibility of zoonotic diseases by keeping livestock’s separate from the human community through provision of livestock sheds. With ERRP program, ANSAB has provided support to 806 households with food and nutrition, 162 households with first aid medicines, 488 households with temporary shelter package (high grade silpaulin tent) and 2,028 households on transitional shelter (CGI sheets and building kits) after the 2015 Nepal Earthquake. It has also supported for the reconstruction of buildings of schools, community-based enterprises and association of community forest user groups.
