Impact
ANSAB measures its effectiveness on the ground through a detailed Impact Tracking System (ITS). Specific outcomes are measured in terms of monetary benefits to primary producers and collectors, degree of economic participation in the value chain, and forest area under improved management.
With ANSAB’s intervention, over 120,000 ha of forest and meadow areas have been brought under improved management supporting over 750 CFUGs and generating benefits for over 125,000 households. Additionally, ANSAB’s work in enterprise-oriented farm and forest management has led to the development and strengthening of over 1,300 economic entities, engaging over 85,000 participants, particularly individuals from poor and disadvantaged groups, generating revenue of NPR 924 million annually.
