Stakeholder mapping of essential oils value chain in western Nepal

ANSAB together with CIFOR-ICRAF conducted a rapid study particularly focusing on stakeholder mapping and analyzing their roles, while also exploring opportunities for impact investment, technological efficiency, and improvements in production and productivity. This study builds on ANSAB’s three decades of experience in Nepal’s essential oils value chain. Insights and lessons from past projects – especially those implemented in western Nepal, including Banke and Bardiya districts – have informed the approach, methodology, tools, and overall analysis of the study, including drawing the conclusions.
